You really need to be careful which church and pastor you choose.
They do not follow the bible but rather make up their own doctrines.
That is why the church has become so powerless and worldly today.
Do not follow religion and their traditions but follow Christ and the word of God that you will not be lead astray!
BEWARE OF CHURCHES AND PASTORS THAT:
- ask you to confess your sins to them and forgive you
The priests are sinners themselves and need to repent as well they are not perfect they are human as you and me. Only Jesus is perfect!
Your sins are something that you confess yourself to Jesus and ask him for forgiveness.
The priests forgiveness wont bring you salvation nor get you into heaven or right with God.
Jesus does not need you to repeat 50 Hail Mary's, no he forgave you the moment you repented and asked for forgiveness!
Nowhere is it written in the bible that we have to confess our sins to a priest and only through him can we be forgiven nor repeat some prayers to be forgiven.
Our priest through whom God forgives us is Jesus Christ only!
Only Jesus who died on the cross for your sins can wash you clean and safe you!
Acts 4:12
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
- worship statues and anything else than God and Jesus
If your church like many churches and even the pope does these days worships a statue even if its supposed to depict Jesus you need to be alarmed.
God tells us to not make any carved image of what is in heaven or on the earth and never bow down and worship it.
A church that worships mother Mary who is a human being like us is committing a big sin!
We are to worship God and Jesus only and no mother Mary nor any Apostle or Saint.
So throw away your rosaries and worship God the father only.
Worship God in spirit and truth!
Leviticus 26:1
“You shall not make idols for yourselves or erect an image or pillar, and you shall not set up a figured stone in your land to bow down to it, for I am the LORD your God.
Exodus 20:4-5
“You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
5 You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God
John 4:22-24
You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23 But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. 24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”
- have you repeat the same prayers like hail Mary or the Lords prayer over and over again
When we pray we only should pray to God himself or Jesus but not to anyone else!
We are not to repeat phrases over and over again nor pray for ourselves than everyone can hear it and give attention to us. Pray to God in your own words from your own heart instead of learning a prayer like a poem.
A prayer that you just say over and over again from a book has an empty meaning but a personal prayer from your heart is refreshing and alive.
Matthew 6:5-8
And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
Luke 18:9-14
And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:
10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
- do not teach you about the end times and the second coming of Christ
Jesus is not dead he raised from the death and he will return again.
Most churches don´t bother to preach the book of revelation the simply ignore the fact that Jesus will return soon and that we must be ready.
We can not ignore a part of the bible because all of it was written for a purpose and holds great significance especially the book of revelation for us today.
Matthew 16:27
For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father's glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what he has done.
Matthew 24:37-39
As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
Luke 21:34-36
"Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you unexpectedly like a trap. For it will come upon all those who live on the face of the whole earth. Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man."
- do not teach deliverance
Deliverance is a very important part that every good church should teach and practice.
Deliverance from demonic bondage and curses are important and we can not forget about it.

- follow the world and ungodly traditions
Beware of churches that work against the word of God like supporting and marrying homosexuals, support apportion or any kind of sin.
Some churches follow holidays like Halloween or Easter which are pagan and evil.
Leviticus 18:22
You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.
Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
BE CAREFUL WHICH CHURCH AN PASTOR YOU TRUST AND IF THEY DRIVE YOU AWAY INSTEAD OF CLOSER TO GOD LEAVE THEM!
AND ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU WILL KNOW THEM BY THEIR FRUITS!
FOLLOW JESUS NOT RELIGION!
Matthew 7:15-20
You Will Know Them by Their Fruits
15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
Galatians 5:19-21
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, sedition, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
